Anita started singing at an early age. She was “The Entertainer” at family gatherings and knew her future profession at an early age that most children are getting ready for elementary school. As a teen, Anita sang in church and was the featured vocalist in amateur groups in her hometown. Anita’s professional career included live performance in Spain, Mexico, Canada, and Japan as well as major casinos in Atlantic City.

With the help of her husband/soundman/road manager Cornel, Anita has now formed her own group. Hand-picked from Atlanta’s touring and studio elite, the five musician/singers in her band bring a further dynamic to Anita’s formidable talent. The band features saxophone/vocals, drums/vocals, guitar/vocals, keyboard/vocals, and bass. With Anita, they play an amazing variety of music from sophisticated swing to “Rat Pack” lounge music. Other songs originate from the fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties.
